I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THIS TORINO AS A PROJECT CAR IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER WELL LONG STORY SHORT THE CAR IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING BUT IT WAS MISSING A HOOD LATCH SO I BOUGHT ONE AND I CANT SEEM TO FIND A CABLE FOR THE LATCH I GUESS MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED A HOOD LATCH CABLE OR IS IT A STAND ALONE? PLEASE HELP

never looked that close at a 1970 but im assuming they have a mechanical pull lever by the grill/bumper???
