That's a nice Gran Torino, but it would be nice too if it had AC, or even a heater. That car looks familiar in the garage pics when being built and painted.

The Dart block 351W(427) is nice and the best part of it, I do wonder why it does not have a custom cam(engine is likely at least $7500, so an extra $250 for a full custom cam and valve springs would have been cheap).

It's a very nice car, the body and paint looks excellent, lots of details too. I would have done a little better on a couple of things like the heater and AC, before selling it.

Pete, your car is also really nice in the many details you have spent lots of time with. I could see you asking top dollar if and when you let it go.

Thanks, but we have pretty much decided the Torino will be the 'kid's problem' along with our 2003 Thunderbird. Although, my mind does say they 'don't want it', i hope to actually ask them next year.

I have never seen that Torino before so I don't think it's a forum members,  but it looks very nice.  That thing would be a beast with the 427 stroker.  Kind of strange it's hardly been driven though since the restoration was completed.  I see it has the aluminum Magnum 500s on there too.  I like the idea of them, but they look just a touch too far from stock for me.

I think his asking price is a bit high, but it will be interested to see what it goes.
