Thanks Jeff, I am so happy that they got my stripe right... ive seen so many that are not done right but its what makes the owner happy that counts.. I guess everyone wants theirs a little different that the other guy..
If your looking for wheels like mine try US mag wheels at 1888 927 2684, last time I checked they had them.

you got a really nice interior but the wrong color, sorry but Blue looks really bad with a red exterior
if it were mine i would invest in changing it to black.i know it is expensive but it don't look right.
Sorry not trying to put your car down cause the interior is nice just wrong color is all i'm saying.
if it was tan it would look better as it goes with Red.I'm changing colors on my car and going through e expense to change the interior but alot of it needed replacing anyway.

If I could have found one with black interior in the shape my car is in I would have bought it.. Ive wanted one of these cars since I was a kid and spent over 10 years looking for this car. I travelled to lots of different states to look at cars but they all had various stages of rot (but did have black interior)... I didnt want a rusty car..

The seats were covered when I bought it so they are in perfect shape.. I was going to redo it black but ive started to like it now especially because the Stars and Bars are red white and blue as is Old Glory.. and it makes it unique because on starskytorino.com theres over 250 S&H cars and mine is the only blue interor S&H car on there.. I dont want to change my car to make other people happy.. Im happy and thats all that matters..
I have a black interior but I aint changing her over.
no offence taken Wink

I like S&H cars but they all look the same, so I guess yours is unique! That is one clean blue interior!

What size are your wheels?

Hi, my car has never been on ebay, the previous owner bought it from the orig owner an elderly man in Ohio, he had it in climate controlled garage all the time and the gent I got it from lives in CT, he had it 9 years and only sold it to me so he could buy a helicopter..
yes it was blue from the factory. It was painted 10 years ago by Ed Szymansky owner of Auto Body Unlimited in Statford CT 203 375 1966 ( for anybody in that area who needs a good painter)... he took it down to bare metal..
The wheels are vintage US Indy wheels with BF Goodrich radial TA's 225 70 14's x 8" in front and 275 60 15's x 10 in rear. they do fill up the wells good.. but I have removed the air shocks and replaced the springs with Torino station wagon springs and put moog isolators top and bottom (ride and handling greatly improved)..
the black interior I have does have the 2 tone in it thats why I have not switched it.. I dont drive the Batmobile after all... its actually in another car I have in storage that I will do the Starsky treatment on and then sell to a Starsky & Hutch fan at a later day..
heres a before picture of my car.....
all the best
Justin

Hi Mark, yes a lot of them are the same but mine has a more full stripe than most like the one midway through series 1 of Starsky & Hutch...  The wheels are vintage US Indy wheels with BF Goodrich radial TA's 225 70 14's x 8" in front and 275 60 15's x 10 in rear......heres a better view of the seats..

cheers

Thanks Joe, she sure was pretty before... when I first saw the interior I thought aww man I wish it was black but its so nice I love it and it makes her a little unique..
I would have had a hard time doing the Starsky makeover with her being so nice before even though Ive been drooling over the Starsky & Hutch car since I was 6 years old..
I see you have a 76, have you any pictures ?
cheers

Unfortunately, mine has been stored since the mid-80's and is in my garage. I need to get it out and make pics, but other projects are ahead of it. I bought that car in 1980 as a temporary vehicle to drive, but fell in love with it. It is the original Maroon paint with the 1/2 white top - planning on changing the color combo since white 1/2 tops went the way of the dodo. LOL.

The cord you're seeing is the cherry on the dash he has sitting at the ready to plug into the lighter socket. Yeah, if you come on Power Tour and flick that on behind me, I'm f'n runnin, so you better get tuned up now.

Ps Justin if you ever come across a black interior you want I'll buy your seats from ya...
