On the flipside, it'd make a great driver. even NOS parts are really cheap.

I picked up Cougar parts for less then $500 and pretty much have all my trim NOS.

That is kinda what I thought.  I think I'll be passing on it.

I think you'll have a hard time selling unless you can get the car for a song. It seems that even though the underpinnings are the same as 72-76 torino, the price is 1/4 of it.

Unless you find a sicko like me who takes pride in his oddball post-76 LOL

Guy at work tell me his brother has a 78 T-bird in pretty good shape he wants to sell. They swapped a 460 into it a number of years ago. The 460 is worn out and smokes pretty bad. I went out to look at the car and it is overall pretty solid. Doors, trunk lid are all real solid. The body had been repainted in the late 80s by Carkote. A local quick paint shop. Paint looks OK. It wasn't laid the best and has a couple of spots were the paint is bubbling. They used the correct fan shroud and motor mounts from a 73 T-Bird, the power steering bracket wasn't factory, but worked. A/C was removed at time of the swap. I have a good running 460 nobody seems to want. I was thinking of putting it in the T-bird and reselling the car. What do you guys
