Hello from Tennessee
I saw this forum on the interwebs and knew I had to join it. I am the proud owner of a 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport Blk/Blk. Long story short, my Dad purchased the car in 1973 from Crown Charlie at Crown Ford in Nashville Tn. The vehicle has been in the family ever since. My Dad passed in 2016, but I was able to talk him into passing the car (which is affectionately called “Black Betty” after the 70’s Ram Jam song) down to me. I have not had the time until recently to work on the car as many seals and hoses have dried up. I am picking the car up tomorrow and it is ready to drive which is what my Dad would have wanted. Thanks and glad to be a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forum! Very cool story about your Torino. My car has a similar story. I upgraded you to have full forum privileges. Post some pics when you have a chance.

Thanks Steve looks like this forum is full of knowledgeable Ford people. I’m sure I will have a lot of questions.
