Anyone know if the lower rear seat from a wagon is the same as the coupe/fastback?

Rear seat lower cushion is the same. I redid one for my '72 GTS and it came from a 1977 Ford LTD2 4 door/Mercury 4 door.
Worst case, new springs are available, but you need to go through an upholstery supply company. Restaurant booth seats use the same. I ended up adapting a late model Crown Vic / Grand Marquis rear seat into my GTS. I ended up only retaining portions of the torino seat frame for mounting to the floorpan as the modern 2000-2012 Crown Vic rear seat was a big improvement.
