Its a lakewood 429/460 bellhousing. I am using mechanical clutch linkage.

All it said is won,t turn over. It,s a 72 ranchero It's on the other side of Connecticut or new Hampshire .300mi to far to go look

Move/remove the shifter hump bracket.

What bellhousing kit is that? Do you have the hydraulic clutch setup?

Hey everyone heres ail update as to the progress on my engine. 
I had a 429 SCJ built and was finally able to pick it up out in Colorado.  
Finally was able to put it on today. 

Here's some pics I'd the process. Hopefully  they are the correct view. 


















Now that its in i have some miscellaneous  things that need to be done so Ii can drive it. Hoses, drive shaft, exhaust, shifter linkage . 

The shifter placement is off jus a bit. Need some advice on fixing that. 
Any and all suggestions are welcome. 



This view is looking straight down in the cab. 

Here's the specs. 
603hp @ 5600 rpm
638 ft/lbs @ 4300 rpm
