Hi forum. What u joints do you all use? I prefer non greaseable…I think…….
Confirm size…..thanks. 3 7/8 inch diameter?

i think you'll find if you measure carefully the cap width dimensions are different on the 2 sides of the cross, it's called a Cleveland U joint

I was told the non grease able ones were stronger.

At Aamco we sold our own company branded u-joints. Usually ended up making one out of two and the Mongrols were put back in the box. All of the boxes were in rough shape so I am sure this was common practice at some point.
