I am doing some basic maintenance on the 351cj.
I have oil primed the engine, but oil is only coming out to 5 valves.
I have spun the crank too. I am priming/spinning counterclockwise by hand. I can feel some resistance/pressure…..
Is hand priming enough to oil up?

You should probably use a strong drill to turn the oil pump at the slowest speed, that will tell if all of the rockers are seeing oil.

Have you removed the rockers or pushrods yet? I'd take them out and be careful to keep them in the original order. Don't mix up the pushrods or the rocker components. With them out you can inspect the tips of the pushrods, be sure they are clean through, as well as the rocker surfaces, check for wear.

I did not take the pushrods out or anything. I will try with a drill tomorrow….
