Not sure why that is happening? No one but you can access your PMs, I can't check it to see what is going on.  I will be sad to see your '72 go.

Still able to access my PM inbox but there is nothing new and it says I have 2 unread.

I will miss it but someone else will get to enjoy it and I'm okay with that.

Thanks. Someone will have a nice ride for years to come. Bittersweet but I feel fortunate to have gone back in time for a few years. My son is disappointed in the sale as he had hopes of calling it his own one day. I am sure it will pop up here again at some point. I am packing all of the spare parts and the trunk is not nearly as large as one would think.
I have to clean out all my things and like every other vehicle there will be a box that gets stored until it is sorted out. Or misplaced. Lol
There is still a box with my old truck junk from 2014 in my basement.

John,

Bittersweet, but happy you were able to sell it.

Glad you will keep active on the forum, you have a lot of knowledge to share.

Thanks,
Chris

Sad to see your car go!  You did a lot of work to get your car to where it is today. I hope you stick around the forum.

I assume you told the new owner about the forum?  Any chance they will join up?

Not sure about this. Was with my daughter about 11 years ago.  We took my S&H to Foxboro MA for a car show.  We remember seeing what might have been your GTS, or one like it. There were several nice rides there . If it was yours,  it was the only other Gran Torino  there.
Sorry to see it go. Maybe there is another one in the future.

I bought the car in 2018 and just did the math. In almost four years I only put 1,607 miles on it. And that was short trips. It was definitey bittersweet selling it but it was time. Whomever owns it will have plenty of fun unless they are on highways. It begs for at least two more gears in the C6 and the 3.25 rear makes for slow cruising. So this chapter comes to an end and another begins.
