as far as the floor cutout, would you say the hump starts maybe 3 inches from that metal floor reinforcement that goes under the seats?

Without pulling up the carpet I will see if I can measure the distance on my '72 Ranchero GT CJ 4 speed tomorrow and let you know.

i share the love, I'm doing rear brakes on the cobra, ( too many power brakes burnouts i suppose) , and I finally got my toploader back from rebuilder, setting the shifter and getting ready to do some floor cutting. I cant play favorites, these two cars dont like each other as it is.

hell, I had to boot my CJ to my dad's house for the younger '73 GTS.
Me thinks the '72 is going to be really pissed when I try to fire her up...so don't feel like you are the only one with cars that hate each other.
Oh, did I mention I swear I hear my F150 and my '99 Contour arguing over which one leaks more oil?

yup you know what i'm talking about! its getting a little better now that they have spent some time together. But when i brought the 73 back from the body shop, and there was a green cobra sitting in her spot, well, it got ugly.

Yeah I know that one, it seems the Torino owns the garage and the R/T has to sit outside wow talk about bad vibes!! Of course it's the only non Ford in the family oh well! The Cobra and the Lightning have their own stable and they like each other.

I'll take some measurements on the GT Friday and get them to you along with a couple of pictures (unless someone beats me)
