Looking at the pic of your data plate, your color code is 6F which is Gold Glow according to the 72 Decoder link above...

Idk if it was redone that way but the interior was blue, but I guess it was because I think the car was blue at one time......will a Marti report tell what that was??

From looking at the 72 Data plate decoder page http://grantorinosport.org/72torino07.htm It would be my guess that M is for Knitted Vinyl Bucket Option the F is for Ginger color and the 4 I would guess must have been some kind of 2-tone special order option. F is the only interior code listed in this R-M interior colors 72-87 book that I have from back in my days of doing theft repairs. So the only thing I can say for certain is F is for Ginger in 1972 and 73.

A trim code should be a 2 digit code on your data plate. For example, mine is CR which is medium green.

Are they interior or exterior? I'm just wondering, I can't find out anything about them, on my torino the code is MF4 so what can you tell me about this?
