I have a 77 Cougar. I'm looking for aftermarket tubular front control arms to get some clearance around the exhaust and hopefully get improved geometry. Do the 68-71 torino control arms fit the 72-79?

65+ Galaxie control arms work, the earlier Torino arms will not.
I've used these guys parts in the past but it looks like they sold their design, they do have contact info for who they sold it to though.

The Littleshop arms were actually a group buy initiated by this forum. I am not sure if they will do another run on them, but it might be worth contacting the company. They do have extra caster built into them. We have a thread on tubular control arms here: Hotchkis also makes control arms listed for a 1965-66 Galaxie that will work with Torinos. We have a member that installed them in his car. |
