Package Tray and Sail Panels

My package tray evidently saw some water at some point, so it's warped and it's crumbling in a few places around the edges. The pictures below don't do the damage justice. Reproductions for these are hard to find and expensive when you do. Shipping costs are worse, so I'm going to try to salvage this one. My plan is to dampen the back/bottom and then put some weight on it until it dries. Then, I might try to patch in new material in the worst of the edge damage. Once that's done, I'll wrap it in new vinyl that will match the seats. Let me know if this sounds like a good plan or if you have better ideas.

As bad as the package try is, the sail panels are worse. Years ago, someone had replaced the originals with plywood cut outs. These were wrapped with what appears to be headliner material, but it's in really poor shape. I'd like to use these as patterns to make a new pair out of Masonite, but when I hold them in place in the car, They don't look like they fit. I'd prefer to save the cost of repros, so I'm wondering if there are patterns (electronic) out there somewhere I could use? As an alternative, I might use the plywood panels to create cardboard templates that I can easily manipulate until I get a fit I'm happy with. Again, any suggestions are welcome.

Reading the procedure though, I think I did something very similar a couple of years ago on my Cougar. I actually bought a sheet of Masonite and cut out a new tray using the old one as a pattern. I didn't pad mine, but that's just because I didn't think of it.

Unfortunately, the fastback won't be that simple. It has a curve at the back that I can't recreate from flat Masonite. I'll continue to work on the old one, and I'll post some pictures of my progress (if there is any).

Sanded the edges and smoothed the top as needed and then covered it with 1/8" EVA foam. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of that. I followed the foam up with marine vinyl I got off Amazon. The vinyl came folded instead of on a roll, so I have some creases that show a little. Not bad, and maybe they'll disappear or minimize over time. There are also some waves in the board, but 100% better than before. 

Now on to the sail panels. That should be a little simpler.

Are you able to fix this?  Otherwise I can see if I still have the photos.

I didn't delete any photos, so I'm not sure what happened?
