Well folks, I'm still on this side of the dirt. It's been a ruff ride, but I'm cowboying up and hangin' on. I'm considering trying to repair the roof damage and windshield. The question is, will the windshield from a 1974 formal roof fit the 72GTS fastback body? I have a good 74 windshield waiting in the wings. Some of that 74 will be parted out, if I can muster the strength to do it. The 74 does have a good set of "opera" windows, and probably several other useful parts for someone. For those not familiar with my health situation, it's called colo/rectal cancer, and it's been a rough three years. Thanks in advance. Duck

My understanding is that every car covered by this forum from 1972 and up uses the same windshield.

1972 Gran Torino station wagon, light blue, 351C 2V, prior owner upgraded to 4V (2V heads), originally had a C4 but prior owner changed to C6 for some reason.

Interesting side note: 72-73 cars actually had heavier glass in them. 77-79 cars like the LTD2, Thunderbird, Cougar and Ranchero actually had a slightly lighter windshield.
