Selling my 1972 Ford Gran Torino sport. Clean title. Runs and drives. The engine and transmission are original — NEVER REBUILT! This isn’t a barn find. Purchased at a car show 14 years ago, garaged ever since. The only thing that isn’t original on this car is the carpet. The fuel system has been redone (POR15 fuel tank sealer used to seal the gas tank), however it still has the original carburetor it was originally sold with. A mechanic told me the stock carburetor doesn’t work at these high elevations, and that I’ll need to replace it with a 650cfm Holly carb if I want to be able to get normal driving out of it. To your benefit this engine hasn’t ever been gunned over the past 14 years. Beautiful car, just needs a paint job and a minimal love to become a show worthy beast. I don’t have the time these days. Good tires, straight piped exhaust, new starter solenoid, heater core, water pump, thermostat, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel tank newly resealed (restored) with new fuel tank neck gasket, fuel tank cap, fuel sending unit, new belts, new alternator, battery, and probably some other stuff I’m not thinking of at the moment. I think pretty much everything is there.
