70 torino wheel backspace

    I own a 70 Torino CJ. I current have Magnum 500 stock wheels on it. 8 inch with a 295/50/15. It is just slightly off the fender lip. Very close. I want to use this width but going to Crager SS wheels. 8 or 10 inch. Based on knowledge from anyone who has done this, what type backspacing can I use. Stock ride height. I don't mind raising it to a 1/4 inch below edge of tire. Right now its right in the middle at its widest point. Thank you for help
