Seeking a long shot in northern VA area before I bite the bullet on a new windshield. As far as I can tell, it looks like lots of things from 72 through 79 took the same glass: Torino, Ranchero, Cougar, Montego, LTDII.

I was quoted about tree fitty ($350) when I inquired at a local chain glass shop here in GA.

That's a bit of relief. I saw Summit selling the windshield for $200ish, plus the same for shipping. Let alone install.
