Good morning,
Doing weatherstrip replacement and adjustments on doors and side windows of my 69 Cobra sportsroof. I put new door weatherstrip on drivers side. The door will not close now without slamming it. The strip overlaps the roof rail by about 4 inches in the front of the door where they are both screwed in just as the originals were. Any thoughts on how to correct this problem? Thanks

Correction...overlap is about 2.5 inches. Roof rail w.strip is also new. Bottom front of that is bulky. That's the issue. Thinking of cutting it down.Has anyone encountered this problem?
