I've owned a '72 Gran Torino Sport FB equipped with Factory Ram Air cleaner since 1979. I've owned my '72 Montego GT since I bought it and paid for it with my own money at 16 y/o in 1976. My mother bought the car new in '72 but could not afford to drive it in the Jimmy Carter gas crisis. I gave her 300 down, her new economy car payment was 99.00 a month, I paid her 60 a month...and she gave me the remaining couple of payments waived as a high school graduation present. It has 88,000 ,miles on it.

Thanks, G

Well, I've got to get back to work. When I stop rowing, the slave ship just goes in circles.

Welcome! I have upgraded you to a full member so you have full forum privileges and can post pics. Those are two super cool and rare cars. We'd love to see some pics of the cars and the ram air setup. What engine is in the Montego GT?
