I just purchased a Starsky and Hutch 1976 Gran Torino with a signed glove box. The original car appears to be white. Could this be one of the cars used in the TV series? The Vin is 6H30H210052.

My guess is it is one of however many Ford sold. They were all white and sprayed I believe.

A Marti report might give you some idea, as it will tell you how the car was originally equipped and where it was sold. I would suspect the TV cars would all be sold in the Los Angeles area. Torinomike650 would likely be the best one to help you out. He is our resident expert on S&H cars/history.

James, The TV hero cars were 2B Red from the factory and then the white vector stripes were added by the studio. Check your door data decal for a DSO ending with 0022 to confirm it is a Ford Starsky & Hutch edition. Show up a few pictures of your Torino and welcome aboard!!
