50 years ago today, the Pilot Episode of Starsky & Hutch was released on April 30, 1975. The culmination of my dream to build the very first Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino the world ever saw on this date 50 years ago, is all coming together this upcoming Saturday in San Diego for the 50th Anniversary reunion with Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear) and my Pilot Episode tribute Gran Torino will be featured for photo ops with Paul and Antonio.
This event will be celebrating having these guys in our lives for 50 YEARS ![]() There will also be a tribute to David Soul (Hutch) at the event, RIP But nonetheless, this is a great day to remember. Happy 50th Anniversary, Starsky & Hutch ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Stunning car. Followed from the start. Is there a dealership looking to store it in their showroom yet?

Thank you, and appreciate all the support since Day 1 John! As someone who has worked at a dealership the past year and a half, I wouldn't put this car within 10 feet of a showroom floor

I've been following the progress. Getting it ready for the show must have been exhilarating. We'll done Mike and John.

Thank you Vince! That truly means a lot. They have a designated photographer for tonight and are not allowing people to take cell phone pics or selfies, so I'll have pics posted here within a couple of weeks.
And thanks Steve, it was a lot of work the past week and a half and a lot of nights burning the midnight oil til near-dawn, but we got there!

The 50th Anniversary of Starsky & Hutch was a spectacular event! It was awesome meeting Paul (Starsky) and Antonio (Huggy Bear) and having great conversations with both of them. Fans absolutely LOVED the Torino, getting pictures all afternoon and received countless compliments of the quality of the build, the attention to every detail and the countless cherished memories that were brought back just from seeing the car. Here are a few photos I posted on my thread from yesterday, I will have photos posted of the event in the coming days, so stay tuned 😎 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
