   I have a 72 Ford Ranchero. I am looking for a hood with the factory "scoop" on it. I have found a 1972 Grand Torino Hood with the scoop
Will it fit my Ranchero?

	Yes, 72 is a one year only as far as the front clip (hood, fenders, nose assembly) goes but they are interchangeable between the Gran Torino and Ranchero.

	Thank you for getting with me. I have potential to drive to Boise, but so many say it won't fit. Have you actually inner changed these hoods? I have stock flat hood, but am making car ready for paint, and would like to change. Do I need the associated hood hinges that was with the Grand Torino to mount the hood as well?

	You can use any 1972 Gran Torino or 1972 Ranchero hood, they fit that one year only front fascia style(the unique grille(the movie Gran Torino)). This is my Ranchero with a 72 Gran Torino Sport front end on it, see the writing on the fender laser stripes. That's also the unique fender trim that came on those GTS's which everyone wants. Those will fit your 72 Ranchero, buy them also if you can.
