Just purchased a 1976 elite that the owner had started on a Starsky and Hutch theme and he ran out money at the shop he had it at so I picked it up at a good price. Will be looking for a lot of info on a 400 engine mild performance upgrade soon..

Hi Micheal, welcome to the forum. I have upgraded you to a new member so you have full forum privileges. Post some pics of your Elite when you get a chance. For 400 upgrades, check out TMeyer Inc. He's got a lot of great parts to build a 400 to make decent power. This includes pistons (that fix the 400s terrible deck clearance issues) and stroker kits if you want to go all in.

Thanks for info. I have very little experience on any forums so this will be a learning process. Was looking at ways to put a pic of car next to my log on info for now. Does not seem to be in an avatar section that I saw. Yep a real newbie.
