Hey all! I'm a new member, but not new to utilizing the info on this forum. I am currently the proud owner of a '72 Ranchero GT with less than 100k documented miles that is largely original and I purchased from the original owner in 2022. It's time for her to move on to someone else, as I simply don't have the time to care for it regularly anymore. I thought contacting the individuals on here would be the best starting point to see if there's interest before listing elsewhere, as these cars often don't get the appreciation and recognition they deserve from the general masses.

I have many original documents including the original plates, build sheet, purchase order, warranty info, tokens, etc. If anyone is interested please feel free to reach out to me.

Thanks!

Welcome!  I just upgraded you to a new member, so you will be able to upload pics now.  Post an ad with some photos in the classified section.

Good Morning!

I'm located in South Orange County California, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego.

A bit more about the car: The original owner drove it daily until the late '80s, at which point he decided to pull it off the road and only drove on weekends. He repainted the car around that time, and the only other changes he made were reupholstering the dash and seats in 2002 and adding dual Flowmasters in 2010.

I've kept it as original as possible while making it a little more drivable. I added a Sun Supertach II, an AM/FM Radio from an '81 T-Bird to replace the Am-only unit, and I added a Holly Sniper EFI 2300 system. All original parts will come with the car.

Yep, 50 years just outside Detroit. The previous owner actually worked at the Ford factory.

Unfortunately I have no info on the paint job. It's the original color (or very close to it), and there are some scuffs here and there from the last 35-40 years along with some weathering on the hood, but overall it's in very nice condition.

I'll get some detailed, current pictures and post them here in a week or so.

Here are some images from 2022 when I bought the car. It's still in basically the same condition.
