Hi all, my name is Mark. Just joined this forum after picking up this 1968 Mercury Cyclone GT. It’s a factory 302 4 speed car. Picked her up from a family friend for $5k seems to be complete minus a back seat and door panels, no rust to be found on it. How’d I do? Any recommendations on part sourcing? Anyone else from Northern California?

Looks like a Z in the background! I had two of the style just before that at one time……one was an AE and I still have some NOS stuff from that. (And some other leftover parts)

Welcome Mark!  Very nice Montego, and it sounds like you got a great deal on the car.  For parts, look at vendors for Torinos, such as Macs or Autokafters.  Also check Green Sales for NOS parts.  You best bet for a lot of things may be looking for used parts.

Post up some want ads here.  Feel free to start a project thread too!
