You can get repros, they are also used in Mustangs. |

They are a bad design from the factory, the knobs come off easily. I replaced them many times over the years. Doorman still makes repop knobs but they are not the best. I have OEM handles, but the original knobs broke many years ago. I have several sets of repop knobs don't last long before they brake. It actually pretty annoying. They aren't 100% correct, but one solution is to use the 1973 style handles design, which is a lot better design. The knobs are riveted in place and much more durable. I have got a set of repop 1973 style handles and they are much better design.
