Hello, my name is Jerry. New member here for the wealth of knowledge to help myself and my two sons on our father-sons project. In July of 2024 I bought a 1971 Torino Brougham 351C 2V, C4 with factory power disc brakes, AC and power steering from the original owner who's had it sitting in his barn since 1993. It has 86k original miles, minimal rust that has been fixed by welding patch panel in place. We got it running and driving last spring and drove it to tons of shows and just around to cruise. That was until the master cylinder and power brake booster decided to give up the ghost. So it's been sitting in my metal enclosed carport since (running it throughout the winter every couple weeks). I was finally able to buy a new power brake booster and master cylinder kit from ebay (I know, but funds are limited). Also bought new rotors, pads and hardware kit, wheel bearings, races and seals, brake hoses, spark plugs, fuel filter, and full engine gasket kit. Next round of purchases will be upper and lower control arms, front shocks, coilspring perches, camber alignment bolt kit. Hoping to have all of these parts in and installed before the end of summer at the latest so we can take the Torino cruising again and tach my 14 year old how to drive it. Oh yeah, I also have a1970 Torino GT Fastback 351C 2V, C4 with manual disc brakes, power steering, AC with 54k original miles parts car I bought for $900 from the original owner down in SC. Sadly it's only a parts car because there wasn't much left of the original sheet metal but the drivetrain still runs and drives so I have a spare drivetrain and tons of other parts to use and sale since the GT specific parts wont fit my '71 Brougham.
