Hello. This is my first post. My name is Nathan. I just picked up a 68 Torino GT Fastback. The car is missing the trim on the lower dash all the way across. I have searched images and videos and noticed some have a single molding and some have a wider trim with more of a finned chrome cover. Is there a way to tell what came on the car and any good suppliers for these parts. Thanks

I don't believe either type is reproduced anywhere.   My suspicion is that the AC cars had the finned looking trim pieces to line up with the vent shutters, though have never seen a definitive answer.
Here is one of the sections that is currently on e-bay.   I would think if your car had the larger finned piece there would be holes for mounting along the bottom of dash front, but have never had it off.

The 69's used a smooth wood grained overlay for these pieces.  Here's the same piece on my 69:

I’m curious, is the steering wheel a reproduction or original I’ve been looking for a reproduction with the wood grain but can’t seem to find one
