i've never seen an adjustable guide plate like that before??? if the push rod isn't in contact with the lifter the oil won,t seal and force oil up the push rod!

pushrods all checked out straight, ends are good. installed new quideplates and rockers today. i have to order an intake gasket, so it will be next week sometime before i can fire it. oil GUSHES out of the rockers now. should be good!

by the looks of that adjustable plate, compared to one that is made for a sbf, that adjustable one has chevy written all over it. scrap pile!

all the ones i've seen for a chevy, look like the one in the pic at the bottom, unless it's something factory for late model junk(i don't mess with cars newer than 1990) Thumbs Down
