Will the doors, quarters and frame fit from a coupe, fit a fastback?

Doors and frame, yes. Maybe lower quarters below the actual roof itself.

Door glass will need to be swapped out - Sportroof and Formal have different door glass
1/4 side glass is different Trunk lid will interchange Interior rear panels are different Parcel tray is different Inner body bracing from the rear seat-back is different Rear glass is different From mid-bodyline down on 1/4 panels is the same (mid-bodyline up is completely different) Bumpers/fenders/valences are the same |

Thanks for the info. I found a 1972 torino sport fastback for $2500. It needs doors, quarters, a small rust whole in the frame and it does not run. For additional $3500 he will include a pretty solid running coupe if I buy the fastback. The coupe runs and drives and only has a little rust in the lower quarters which he is throwing a set of new quarters in the deal. Trying to decide if the coupe would be worth buying to strip.

Buy it all and build the coupe. Sounds like the fast back is rough. Just my opinion

would like to see pics.
Prices depend on what they are and how much work they need. Hard for anyone here to give you any thoughts without pics. |

Don't own either car yet , and the cars are not posted anywhere for sale. I was just wonder if buying the coupe made sense because I was unsure what would fit. If I get them I will post them.

Paying that much for the coupe just to transfer any parts over to the Sport is not worth it.
