years ago when plasma cutters first came on the scene... i tried a esab, great machine but for $800 then i figured WTH do i need to spend $800 for something cool to cut sheet metal? as i have all types of sheet metal cutting tools... shears, air shears, cutoff tool, grinders, torch, air nibbler, etc.

well fast forward almost 20 years... last weekend while using an oxy/acetylene torch i accidentally cut through the oxygen hose Shocked ( oh what a flame burning!) well couldn't find any place on a sunday that carried new hoses Censored so i removed the bad section and reconnected the fittings Thumbs Up but by now the bottles are nearing empty! Censored so i decide now may be a good time to finally buy a plasma cutter...

after some online research, i came to the conclusion to buy the 40 amp eastwood plasma cutter $499 Big smile

 well today it arrived Clap

so i quickly assembled it and did a quick trial... i just used the 110v feature and cut through some 10 or 12 ga. galvanized rocker material, paint and all! effortlessly!

i'm impressed with it can't wait to try it out more Big smile

What do you need as far as other stuff to cut with that? Or can you unbox it, plug it in, and start cutting?
Thanks,
Russ
