Hey everyone!!  My name is Gary and I've owned Torinos on and off since 1976! The first car I ever owned was a '68 Torino GT fastback.  My favorite though was a 1972 black on black GTS, sportsroof, 351 Cobra Jet, sports gauges, floor shifter and sports bucket seats.  My latest is a '72 GTS that started out as an unfinished project when I got it.  She's rust free with a restored interior.  The rest of the drive train is an anemic worn out 302, C-4 or more likely FMX tranny and 8 inch rear.  My goal is a 460, C-6, 9 inch 3.50 gears and B&M shifter.

Welcome! You've had a nice collection over the years. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your current project.

I think a recurring question I've seen here regarding the BBF conversion is related to getting the right motor mounts! If you don't have them yet, there may be leads in some of the old posts.

Welcome aboard Gary.  I have upgraded you to a full member. It sounds like you have a good project on your hands.  Post some pics or better yet start a project thread.

Thanks for the welcome!!  The motor mounts and headers were concerns, but I found this site  www.critesperformanceparts.com provides both.

If you go the Crites route, get both mounts and headers from them. Their mounts reposition the engine slightly.
