I just bought this car. 1970 grand Torino with a 429 ram air cobra jet. Is this worth anything

Whatever someone will pay. If it is a Gran Torino it's a 72. Before that they are Torinos. Post some pics.

I have no idea how to post a pic here. It is a 1970 Torino. Not Grand my mistake.

it does not. Green with black bench seat and black vinyl top. Hub caps. Person I bought it from owned it for 47 years. Never drove it.

Troy Lemming specializes in the 70-71 Torinos. He has lots of parts and cars for sale.

Look the car up on one of the search engines and compare to similar cars for a good indication of value. The market is tricky to predict but gas prices affect it a bit.

Prob keep it. It is a very unique car. I ordered the marti report today. I will restore the car. At one point it had a cheap paint job. Besides that is is in incredible shape for the age.

thank you. Yes it’s a really nice car. I plan to keep it. I will remove the vinyl top and repaint it. Put stock tires back on.

Very nice! A 1970 J-code Torino Cobra is definitely a desirable car.  Your car doesn't have a ton of options, but I still think it's one of the more valuable Torinos.  Removing the vinyl top will only improve the looks IMO.

Awesome score.  Congratulations!  Interesting vinyl top.  I'm guessing the previous owner added it?
