Hey All,

I had to take out the windshield of my 78 Ranchero in pieces because is an issue of rust on the bottom of the windshield frame. Will a windshield from a 74 Ranchero work?

I think it should. The body is basically the same with exception to the hood, fenders and maybe doors. I believe all mid size had the same windshield from 72-79.which would include the Ranchero.

i'm also going to go with Highly Probable

the lower 1/2 of my windshield frame is 72 and the top is 78 IIRC,
but i have not fitted the glass yet. the A pillars lined up perfectly

72-79 Same Glass. Same fit for trim, but don't know if the different years or models would have different detailing in the trim.
