Quick question, I have to change my speedo gear and not sure if there will be a major leak when I pull it out or just a dribble, don't want to lose any more fluid than I have to.

I am assuming you have a C6? I had no leaks when I pulled mine from my C6.

There will not be fluid leaking out unless it was overfilled. Lay on floor, 3/8" box end wrench, small screwdriver to pull the gear clip, swap gear, put new gear on cable with clip, install. Done. You may want to put a new o-ring on before you install into transmission.

Sorry about that, it is a C6, and the gear I ordered has a new clip and O-ring with it. Thanks again for the help - Dave

Did you change rear end gears?

The car had 4:11 gears with a 2:75 speedo gear in it when I bought it. I just put 3:25 gears in it and am changing the speedo gear to a 21 tooth to try to get it close to the right combo.

That is the gear I used for a 3.25. Haven't had it on the highway yet but it seems close on back roads.
