As many of you will have noticed, the forum was down for about a half day yesterday. All is back up and running well. I had put in a support ticket with my web host to look into, but it seems the problem did fix itself. Here are the details if anyone is interested in what likely happened: They suspect from the error message that the database driver loaded into the website's process crashed and that the issue fixed itself when the
application pool automatically recycled. It is possible to upgrade forum to the latest version of Web Wiz Forums which can use a newer SQL Server database driver. I'll get the forum software updated, and hopefully we will not have any more hiccups like that in the future.

Great that it "fixed itself." Hopefully the update to the forum software eliminates further problems.

It's all good, the forums work better than my phone, which seems to have a service outage every few days lately.

Thanks for the info Boss. Glad it worked out quickly. Life would not be quite as enjoyable without family.

Thanks Scott. I tagged your wife as I wasn't sure if you were on active duty or not.
Also, if you have a few, drop me a line. Have a few questions for you on something. |

Is that why I wasn't getting any emails? Will I be getting them now? Thanks.

Joe-
I went in and looked and it's set to email you for responses to your posts, so I would double check your emails and make sure that they are not going into your spam folder.
