Quick question on the dome light. I am about ready to glue my headliner up and need to know how the standard dome light is installed. My understanding is the light gets its power through the screw connections, however the end of the power wire had a red tab and I am not sure how that connects to the light. Do I need to cut an opening in the headliner where the tab is for it to contact the light bracket? Thanks - Dave

that plastic screw connector is how power gets to the light, making contact through the screw threads! the plastic keeps it from grounding out on the metal so make sure the plastic fits good and no missing chunks and make sure the screw isnt too long that it punches through and grounds out to the roof metal! headliner material shouldn't really effect it though
