HI guys,

Just picked up this car this April.  Found it in Syracuse, NY.  It is a 1971 Torino.  Started life as a 500 but someone dressed it up to look like a Cobra.  It has the 351 4V motor, shaker scoop which works, cobra badging, original color, original ginger interior (other than some badging).  I have a Marti on it.
Very nice car and runs really nice.  The previous owner had it since 1995.  Has a few minor imperfections but nothing too bad.  Solid underneath and passed inspection no problem.  Thumbs Up

Love it. If I ever get a 70-71 I would want the hideaway grille. But, knowing what is involved parts wise, it would be more likely that I hit the lottery. Haha
  Really nice aquisition.

Very nice Torino!!  The 70-71s are among my favorites Torinos.  Any plans for the car?

I know!  I would have thought you would have been all over it.
I spotted it on the facebook market place and said to my brother, If I buy one it has to be done because I already have too many projects.  A couple weeks later it was in my garage.  :)

The Marti report calls it out as Medium Yellow Gold Paint #3492-A, Paint code E.

I like the yellow allot.  It is not too bright.  I did find a partial build sheet which confirms it is original color.
