All,

I am in need of a full passenger side floor pan from the toe board to the rear pan.

Will be going in a 1972 Torino. I know 72-76 Torino and also Thunderbird pans are all the same.

Anyone have a very nice original pan out of a parts car I can buy?

Would need it shipped to Texas.

The car has beautiful drivers side floors but the passenger floor is hacked to hell and needs to be replaced.

Thanks,
Mike

Maybe try Raymond McCloud on Facebook? He has had several parts Torino's and he is in Tulsa, OK; so probably one of the closest to ship to TX.

Mustang floors can be tweeked to work and there is a thread somewhere. Maybe in the project sub forum?

I’ve seen the mustang floors and they are a great option. I really want to keep the original contour of the floors. If I can’t find a nice original donor I’ll just have to have a new one made.

I bought Mustang floor pans for this reason, but didn't end up needing them. They are for sale if interested.

I know you are looking for original floors, but they are tough to find rust free.  Another option is the 71-73 Mustang floors, which I think work the best of any non original floor plans.  Check out Comptons build where he uses them.  His car is second to none when it comes to quality of workmanship. Below links to the page in his thread that shows the install.

The Mustang Floors look great, but I really want to Keep the original contour of the floors. Ill wait till I find a good roller or parts car that has great original metal.

I founds a rust free 1974 Ranchero shell that has super nice original floors.

Are these floors the same length as a 72 Torino?

They should match a 4dr Gran Torino, the front half is the same as the 2dr, but the rear foot area is a little different.

Donor Car Located!

Thanks Andrew Crouch.

This 74 will be the sacrificial lamb!

We will be drilling out all the factory spot welds and doing a complete Pan replacement to look 100% factory!

Will be parting the 74 out after if anyone needs parts let me know.

First image is the car the pans are going in (No more ugly patches). 2nd image is the donor.

Black 72 will also be getting a new 5 speed / Ram air unit / SPOHN rear suspension / New Tubular Upper control arms.
