Howdy folks, I'm trying to disassemble the split bench seat for easier storage while I coat the car. How do you remove the back of the seat from the seat bottom?

I see a hinge bolt, and soaked it in PB blaster but those bolts aren't budging, and truthfully I'm not sure that's how you even disassemble these. I've tried looking for info online but I've come up with nothing.

So...this led me down the rabbit hole of sorts to resolve my issues posting images.
back to the item at hand:

The seats use a clip and a shoulder pin with a groove.

Likely, you need to bend the seat forward, and use a small awl/pick or pry tool and pop the tab out of the groove and then use pliers to pull the pin out.

It should release the seat.

From the 1972 Torino-Montego Interior assembly manual:

Thanks for the reply! I actually figured it out last night. Instead of going after the pin, I removed the trim, and unbolted the two 3/8" bolts on either end of the seat. Once I did that I was able to shimmy the back of the seats and slide them free. Didn't end up having to touch the hinge bolts at all!
