have a 351w in the car with automatic column shifter. Installing floor shifter auto. Is there going to be a problem with clearing headers. Short or long. Any suggestions?

I installed power  steering, C6 trans and 351 cleveland with a floor shifter in a 68 Torino. couldn't find a single header company  that would tell me that their headers would fit, until i talked with Sanderson headers, they solved my problems by using two sides from two different sets. I don't recall having troubles with exhaust pipes interferring with shifter..
