haas anyone changed a steering gear before? A friend says that the manual and power steering boxes are physically the same for 68/69 torinos? Anyone have any good information

Boxes are physically the same, as the power was actually a cylinder on the linkage. Gearing may be a little different from power to manual, but you can live with that, or at least I did. all 68/69 ranchero and Torino/Fairlane are the same, along with the Mercury cousins.
