look for parts for my 4 speed toploader out of my 1973 gran torino sport, i found that the tail housing is longer than any i have found, is that because of the "Q" code? or is it from some other vehical?

i actually have a 70 torino tailshaft on my toploader in my 73. it fits perfect., you just need to use the correct 72-73 hurst mount. usually galaxie has a longer tail housing. here is the correct torino setup.

I thought I had pictures of my toploader in my '72 GTS, but evidently I don't have anything of the trans scanned in.
A Torino is going to have a longer housing, compared to the same year mustangs from what I recall digging in the Manuals. |
