Well, I like the concept personally.

Stick a 427 Shelby in it and I would volunteer to give it a whirl....

I hope that if Ford ever does re-release a Torino,, they do not go down the Chevy Malibu route... A cheap 4-door family car with a hot name on it.

The recent re-releases like the Camaro and the Challenger are really quite awesome. The new Stang is quite nice also.

But there are a ton of re-release models not so cool. I am afraid a re-release Torino might fall into the latter.

I agree. I was iffy on the Charger re-release (being a large 4 door), but was impressed after driving an RT version. I fear a Torino would be based on the new Taurus platform and have a V6 and 4 doors. Probably be nice, but would never sport a Lazer stripe again...

Oh yea, the Charger - I almost forgot about that one. This years model seems especially nice with that new tail light. Consumer Reports even liked it, and it seems they have had an axe to grind with Chrysler for some years now, so that really says something.

Of course the new 300 is very nice, but I prefer my 66 300 - classic style. Sort of like that Chrysler commercial:
