Hi all, I’ve just joined this group & I’m excited to find more resources for locating parts to restore my car! I enjoy seeing all the beautiful cars. With patience mine will be someday too :-)
I just found my rear bumper which was first on my list, now hoping to source center console housing if anyone knows someone still
Making after market ones. Eklers doesn’t any longer I guess . Bummer. This is me the day I bought my car!! I’ve got to learn how to resize photos still :-/
Thanks! -Debra

Welcome Debra! Your photos probably didn’t work because you were still a probationary member. They should resize automatically once they are uploaded. I have upgraded you to a new member so you have full forum privileges. Try the photos again when you have a chance and tell us more about your car.

Thanks! I found my ‘69 Ranchero GT 390 that has a few issues as well that I need to tackle. Weird one I wonder if anyone may know cause: It drove straight on my ride home after I bought it. (had someone follow me to see) but not sure what is the cause of one where I can fit my hand flat on the tire inside wheel well, but the passenger side is barely 1/2”! How would that be possible to no be the same? And experience with this and how to fix would be great, Thanks!!
Also-I need to find someone to take a picture of what the receiver for the dash ashtray looks like so I can find one. Mine is missing and I’m gathering parts to piece back together the whole center console.
I have the arm rest pad(still need the hinge) the ashtray itself I found on eBay and the metal trim along the top of console. So I’m making progress! Hope to hear back from a nice member get about possible black console body located in Chicago. Yea! Many Thanks to ya’ll

Not sure on what you mean on the wheel clearance.  Front or back?  Is one side (pass or driver) higher than the other?  Could be worn out springs or failed suspension components.

Here's a link with some info (and a diagram) that may help with the console.  I may have another doc somewhere with more info.  I did find out the guy I referenced has sold the console he had.
