Went to Ebay and bought a digital scale, upgrading from my analog mail scale.
Batteries and instructions included, but like a true Tim Taylor man I ignored the instruction page. With no instruction I installed the batteries correctly (Super easy) and set it on a clean spot on my bench. it has two buttons they're the touch kind and don't snap when pressed. This means they can be gently caressed so as to not disturb the weight and zero settings. The scale measures to tenths of ounces, grams, and a couple others. it has an 11 lb capacity. I weighed pistons, rods, rings, and piston/rod combinations. I doubted a couple of the weights, so I repeated after turning it off and on again a few times. The scale is very consistent, and not too sensitive to where the item being weighed is placed. If a gram or two is the precision you need, this scale works well. I am pleased with it. ![]() |
