Hi forum. What do you fellas do for new lenses in instrument cluster on 70 Cylone?
Have any of you tried to polish the lenses? If so, what did you use? Thanks.

Almost all plastic used on instrument clusters can be polished easily with typical mild car polishes. Start with a mild polish, avoid anything that you can feel the grit in, such as most compounding products.

I have plastic cased comic book containers, the plastic is fairly tough, but I have been able to remove any scratches from them, light or deep. A tough plastic can take a real compound, but only apply it by hand. Use a soft cloth like a face cloth, terry cloth etc. it works great on the instrument cluster covers.

Autosol makes a plastic polish that works well…I’ve found that using their metal/chrome polish first then the plastic polish gives the best results
