Just curious if anyone knows what other cars may have used the same intermittent wiper switch as the 72-73 Torinos.  I'm going to a yard soon and would check any other cars that may have them.
Thanks - Dave

I don't know what cars shared the switch, but the controller is supposed to be similar to the 80's Crown Vic and other Fords, which park the wiper arms down.

Over the years I had pulled these out of a variety of cars, the problem is, year to year, the pin out might change. You can do this, but it is best to cut the main harness from the donor car to get the connector. There is a guy on Facebook "John Roach" (i see his listings in the various torino groups) who specializes in the original switches . Facebook link to a video he did: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1C2J6RntvM/

IIRC, some early switches may be flat pinned and later ones are round pins.

But, you need the switch and control box. You may or may not need to re-pin the following vehicles I know had them as standard or optional, and will mount up.
72-79 Torino, Montego, Ranchero, Elite
77-79 Thunderbird/Cougar (maybe 72-76 T-bird)
Some 70's Lincolns.

I have a couple of them on the shelf, but not sure of condition, or even application, 1 i pulled from a car sometime in the 90's, the other came from the 79 Cougar parts car I had here.

Good luck and happy hunting!
