I had to drill out the other side today. Bolt snapped after heating, whacking, drenching. No worries.
Yes….tapping…..what measurement are the studs? 5/8? I will try and tap for that.

I doubt you will be satisfied with threads tapped into a cast iron manifold, that might be a last resort I'd consider.

IIRC the replacement studs are 7/16-NC (National Course)
7/16"-14 x 2-1/4" to be exact |
